Koushiki Vastra, a group of Roshi Jewellery, was born from a shared passion for sarees, a love for Indian craftsmanship and a dream to bring unique, thoughtfully handpicked sarees to customers.
Founded by Haritha Purushothaman, Managing Director of Roshi Jewellery, and Adarsh, Founder of Koushiki Vastra, the brand carries forward the values of a family business that has been serving generations of customers in Kasaragod for four decades.
With Haritha's strong business background and experience in customer service, combined with Adarsh's entrepreneurial spirit and shared passion for sarees, Koushiki Vastra became a journey they decided to build together.
The Idea Behind Koushiki Vastra
Haritha always had a special love for sarees. Over the years, that love grew into a vision — to create a saree brand where customers could discover unique and beautiful sarees, sourced directly from the heart of India's weaving communities.
The idea was not simply to sell sarees. It was to discover them — to understand where they came from, meet the people who created them, and bring those stories back to customers.
The Journey Began in 2024
In June 2024, that dream became a reality. With the constant support, love, and encouragement of each other, Haritha and Adarsh began travelling across different parts of India.
They visited weaving communities, met weavers and artisans, explored traditional techniques, and discovered the incredible variety of India's textile heritage. From handlooms and traditional weaves to contemporary interpretations, they personally explored and carefully selected sarees that stood out for their craftsmanship, uniqueness, beauty, and character.

From Passion to a Growing Brand
What began as a shared dream soon became a brand loved by customers in Kasaragod and beyond. The experience of being part of the Roshi Jewellery legacy taught us the importance of trust, quality, transparency, and genuine customer service. We brought those same values into Koushiki Vastra.
Today, Koushiki Vastra has grown from its beginnings in Kasaragod into a saree destination with customers not only from our hometown, but from across Kerala and different parts of India. Our offline store gives customers the opportunity to experience our collections personally, while our online presence allows our handpicked sarees to reach saree lovers far beyond Kasaragod.
